WE ARE ALL TREATY PEOPLE - This is My Story - Wed. Feb 28 at 5PM

Event in Calgary at the Calgary Public Library:

John Dutton Theatre

Organized by : Generation Indigenous - GENi

Generation Indigenous presents:

"GENi: This Is My Story” is a speaker series consisting of four events that will take place over a period of four months on Treaty 7 territory and in Calgary, AB. The four events will weave a narrative analogous to how Elders pass on the story of their tribes and nations to the next generation. This narrative will be focused on including the current and future generations of young Indigenous and non-Indigenous people and will look forward to reconciliation between all Treaty People. As Elders pass on knowledge to the next generation through sharing of stories and traditions, today's generation signals a new era, sharing pain and pride, wearing our histories proudly on our backs.

This event welcomes all people from all backgrounds. Feel free to share this event!
